Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.  I just want to start by apologising for my unexplained absence.  My wifi got disconnected by mistake and I had no internet for almost a week.  Thankfully it is all sorted now but it was a bit of a pain and I am relieved to have it back !!!                                                           Continue reading

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all well.  We have had some very cold weather here in Ireland over the last few days so I took full advantage of the beautiful skies with my camera.  This was taken in the morning when it was just starting to get bright.  I really love the mood in this shot and of course, the reflections in the water.

Photo Friday | A Girl Can Dream

The Mills

Hi guys, some of you may have noticed I haven’t been very active on WordPress this week.  It has been one of those weeks filled with paperwork, appointments, and just a whole load of things that all need sorting at once.

Last Days of Autumn

Canal in Autumn

I hope everyone is keeping well.  I just wanted to apologise for my absense, I had a viral infection that completely wiped me out and have not been in the mood for much to be honest.  I am getting my energy back though and hoping to catch up with reading and also do my review of Beside Myself by Ann Morgan which I finished last week.

As for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, I got to 200 pages and realized that I just wasn’t enjoying it so have put that aside for now in favour of The Girl with all The Gifts by M.R Carey.  So fingers crossed I like this one!
