Hi everyone, I hope you are all keeping well. This picture of the River Liffey was taken last weekend when I was in college in Dublin City Centre.  Doesn’t it look beautiful in the morning ?!                                                                                                 Continue reading

Photography | Here and Now

We depend on nature not only for our physical survival. We also need nature to show us the way home, the way out of the prison of our minds. We got lost in doing, thinking, remembering, anticipating – lost in a maze of complexity and a world of problems.  We have forgotten what rocks, plants and animals still know. We have forgotten how to be – to be still, to be ourselves, to be where life is : here and now.  ~ Eckhart Tolle

Hi lovely people, sorry I went missing for a while.  Its been a hectic few months, but of the good variety.  Things have been going well.  Its Summer in Ireland so with the lovely weather and the sunshine, I think that always gives everyone a little boost.  The joys of a bit of Vitamin D, eh?!

This photo that I am sharing today was taken in Dundalk, Co Louth.  We went away for the long weekend and it was so nice to have a change of scenery and be by the coast.  I always feel such a sense of peace and calmness when I am near the water.  Maybe its something to do with being an Aquarian?! Who knows !!!                                                                  Continue reading

A quick post today just to share with you one of my favourite shots of my local canal this year.  This is lock no.12 of The Royal Canal in Dublin hence why this spot is called The Twelfth Lock.  It is hard to make out with the sun but if you look at where the two rays are shining down there is a building underneath which is a hotel/pub and it is called The Twelfth Lock. It is a lovely place to hang out with a gorgeous view over the canal.

Photo Friday | An Irish Winter

Irish Winter

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.  I’ve had a good week, I finally got round to writing and publishing my review of Beside Myself by Ann Morgan.  I don’t know why I always procrastinate on reviews but I do, every single time.  I am now reading The Girl with all the Gifts by M.R Carey.  I am about quarter of the way in and really enjoying it so far.  I can tell already that it will be an emotional read.  It has a very unique premise and not your typical dystopian read.
