Photography | In The Shadows

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.  I just want to start by apologising for my unexplained absence.  My wifi got disconnected by mistake and I had no internet for almost a week.  Thankfully it is all sorted now but it was a bit of a pain and I am relieved to have it back !!!

As some of you have noticed, I haven’t been delivering much in the way of book reviews recently and I wanted to apologise for that.  I have been taking a bit of a break from reading while I deal with some personal stuff and well ….. life.  Sometimes it just gets in the way I guess and can make it difficult to get round to the things we enjoy.

But all is not bad, as a somewhat overdue birthday present to myself I have planned a trip to London with my best friend.  We are going this weekend which I am really excited about.  I haven’t been to London in years so can’t wait to see it again and also to meet up with fellow blogger Alex.

If anyone is from London and has any recommendations for places to see, good book shops, coffee shops, restaurants etc … please let me know?! I would love to hear from you.

Anyway, I really wanted to share this photo with you guys.  It was taken recently and I felt it really captured the darkness and eeriness of an Irish Winter. I hope you like it.

Oo! You’re going to see Alex in London? Very exciting! I hope to receive an email all about it when you return and I hope you have fun. ^.^

And of course, lovely photography. There’s something dark and haunting, almost hollow about the picture. Wonderful image.
