Photo Friday | A Girl Can Dream

The Mills

Hi guys, some of you may have noticed I haven’t been very active on WordPress this week.  It has been one of those weeks filled with paperwork, appointments, and just a whole load of things that all need sorting at once.

Luckily I got time to fit in coffee and a chat with one of the school mums on Tuesday and I am meeting one of my friends tomorrow that I haven’t seen for a couple of months. It will be nice to check out of mummy duties for a couple of hours and caffeinate myself.

This weeks picture is one I took at the start of September coming back from dropping my son to school.  Every day I walk past this canal and wonder what it would be like to live in that building and wake up every morning and have that amazing view.  It is spectacular, I have always dreamed of living by the coast and failing that, I think the canal is the next best thing.

So that is it for this week, I am so glad it is Friday … it feels like the weekend already.  Have a good one !!!

Gorgeous picture! I love canals, myself, even though I’m not a huge fan of beaches. The canal is so important in a culture and a city and I feel that it really defines them both. Does that make sense?

P.s. Have fun with your friends. Everyone deserves a few hours to caffeinate. ^.^

I never really thought of it that way but yes it does make sense 🙂 I’m curious though, why don’t you like beaches?

Yesterday was lovely. I went for lunch with my friend and then got a babysitter for the evening and went to the local pub for a couple of drinks.

Are you having a good weekend? ❄️🌸❄️
